We can’t believe it is already the beginning of summer! And, what better way to enjoy the hot weather than with an ice cold cocktail. We are so excited to share some fun cocktail recipes with you inspired by the shows and movies we have been binge watching lately. These cocktails are great for any summer occasion. 

1. Game of Thrones • A Song of Fire and Ice 

We can’t believe that Game of Thrones has already ended a year ago, it is all anyone could talk about last May. Now is the perfect time to watch or rewatch the series. You might even end up with a different favorite character! 

Use 1½ oz of Jack Daniels Fire Tennessee Whiskey, 3 oz of cranberry juice, and ½ of lemon-lime soda. Add a Zoku Cube Ice to the bottom of the glass, pour the cocktail over and enjoy!

2. The Office • The One of Everything

This is one of our all time favorite shows. It will make you laugh uncontrollably, your stomach will hurt from laughing so hard. If you haven’t watched this series, we recommend you give it a try! Michael makes his own “The One of Everything Drinks” on the show; we are going to make our own version. 

Use ½ oz of vodka, ½ oz of rum, ½ of gin, ½ oz of tequila, ½ oz of triple sec, and 1 oz of sour mix. Shake these together. Use Zoku’s Cool Moji Ice Cubes and put them in the bottom of your glass, add the alcohol over the ice, and top it off with coke. This will make you the perfect Long Island Iced Tea or “The One of Everything Drinks” as Michael Scott would call it. 

3. The Sopranos • Espresso Cocktail

This was a classic show on HBO which ran from the late 90’s to 2007.

About an Italian family with mob ties from New Jersey. It is very well known and we see many people taking the time to rewatch this series during quarantine. 

Use 2 oz of Khaula, 2 oz of vodka, 2 oz of heavy cream, and 1 shot of espresso. Mix ingredients in a shaker and pour into a glass over a Zoku Ice Ball.

Tip: The Ice Ball will melt slow, making your drink less watery. 

4. The Bachelor • Will you accept this Rose Sangria

We love this show for the drama. It never fails to keep us interested. There are 28 women who start off and throughout the season the bachelor has to send them home. When two women are left, the bachelor must choose one to get engaged to. 

For this cocktail we will be making a red wine sangria. Use one bottle of red wine, ⅔ cup of sugar, 2 oz of brandy, and cut up fruit of your choice. To a pitcher add Zoku’s Love Ice, add the ingredients and top it off with 2 cups of ginger ale or club soda. 

5. Friends • We were on a “Break” Cocktail

This series is a feel good type of show, that follows a group of friends and their daily lives navigating through New York City. This is also a classic that will make you laugh and cry. In the show, Ross always exclaims to Rachel they were “on a break” and is one of the most iconic lines to come out of this show. 

Use 2 oz of dark rum, 2 oz of pineapple juice, passion fruit syrup. Mix these ingredients together. In a separate glass add some Zoku Cheers Ice, and pour the cocktail over the ice. Top if off with some Club Soda and enjoy your sweet cocktail. 

6. How I Met Your Mother • The Yellow Umbrella

How I met your mother is a show similar to Friends, in the sense that it follows a group of friends in their daily lives. However, the plot is about one of the characters, Ted, and he is explaining to his children how he met their mother. This show is absolutely hilarious and has the best characters that you will easily fall in love with. 

Use 1½ oz of amaretto, 1½ oz of vodka, ½ oz of peach schnapps, and 2 oz of sour mix. Pour over Zoku’s Jumbo Ice Cubes for the perfect cocktail anytime. 

7. Schitt’s Creek • Ice Shooters

This show follows a family who comes from money and suddenly, they have nothing and are forced to live in a little motel their father bought as a joke. If you haven’t checked this out, you should since it is trending on Netflix. The final season just aired so you are able to binge watch all the seasons together. 

Freeze Zoku’s Ice Shooters, when they are completely frozen take them out of the mold, add a shot of your choice and enjoy an ice cold shot with your buddies. 

8. MTV The Challenge • Tough Mudder Beer Cocktail

The Challenge is a reality show where contestants are competing against one another for a money prize at the end. Each week, a contestant is sent home, and there is always conflict between the contestants. The challenges they are competing in are no easy task either. 

We are going to pair this with a beer cocktail. Mix 1 oz of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 2 oz of gin. Mix well, add to a glass with a Zoku Party Ice Tray and add 4 oz of Lager beer. 

9. Grey’s Anatomy • The Mcdreamy

This show has been running since 2005 and now has 16 seasons. It is very up and down, there are sad moments and happy ones. But this is a great show that follows a group of intern surgeons living their lives and how they treat their patients. 

Use 1½ oz of tequila of your choice, 1½ oz of strawberry lemonade, 1½ oz of triple sec, and 3 oz of champagne. Combine the tequila and triple sec and mix in a shaker. In a separate glass add Zoku’s Iceberg Ice Mold and add in the tequila mixture, then pour the lemonade and champagne over and enjoy! 

10. Dead to Me • Judy’s Margarita

This is a new show with only two seasons, but it has a great plot twist that you probably would not see coming. The show follows two women who become friends after the death of one's husband. 

Use 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of triple sec, 1 oz of sour mix and a splash of orange juice. Mix together and pour over Zoku Jack Ice Mold. The trick to this is the splash of orange juice, it really makes a difference.
