The 3 Best Fall Recipes

The 3 Best Fall Recipes

Here are ZOKU, we adore Fall for its flannels, changing leaves, and tasty treats like caramel apples. But what we love most are the seasonal flavors that grace our favorite coffeeshops. Unfortunately,  spending five or six dollars on a fall-flavored cup of coffee or tea multiple times a week can add up quickly and put a dent in your wallet. Not to mention the time spent waiting in line listening for your name to be loudly mispronounced…

That doesn’t mean you have to give up your PSL or whatever it is you’ve dubbed the perfect fall coffee drink. Instead, make it at home and use one of our autumn-approved recipes to do it.

1. Pumpkin Spice Latte Shake

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ cups high quality vanilla ice cream
¼ cup (2 fluid ounces) strong coffee; chilled
¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon pure pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
2 tablespoons light brown sugar

OPTIONAL GARNISHES:
whipped cream
pumpkin pie spice

DIRECTIONS:
Place all ingredients into a blender and purée on medium speed. Pour into the Slush and Shake Maker; stir until thick.

If desired, top shakes with whipped cream and a sprinkling of pumpkin pie spice.

2. Pumpkin Spice Thai Tea

INGREDIENTS
8 Tbsp Thai Tea Powder
2 Cups Water
2 tsp Condensed Milk
1/4 tsp Pumpkin Spice

DIRECTIONS
Add 8 Tbsp of Thai Tea Mix to the Tea Strainer. Put Strainer inside the Glass Core Bottle. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Pour hot water into the Tea Strainer and let it steep for 5 minutes. Remove Tea Strainer. Add condensed milk and Pumpkin Spice to the bottle. Stir the mixture.

You can drink this beverage hot or cold. If you drink it hot try adding whipped cream or marshmallows. For cold, let the tea sit in the refrigerator for a few hours then add ice.

3. Iced Maple Latte

SERVING SIZE: Makes 1 iced latte

INGREDIENTS:
5 oz freshly brewed, hot, strong coffee
1 tbsp quality maple syrup
3 oz milk

DIRECTIONS:
1. Stir together coffee and maple syrup.
2. Transfer to ZOKU’s Iced Coffee Maker.
3. Add vanilla extract and half and half and stir to combine.
4. Attach the Iced Coffee Maker’s lid and straw; wait 5-7 minutes for the beverage to chill.
